One of my favorite things to shoot is other photographers taking pictures. Whenever I come across someone else having themselves a little photo session, I usually can’t help but fire off a few shots of my own. It is easy to grab a candid as everyone’s attention is usually focused on the first photographer. Having the original photographer in the shot also results in an entirely different scene then what they had originally composed. Now the dynamic relationship created between a photographer and their subject is the focus of the photo, instead of the subject alone.
This was shot on the cliffs overlooking Sutro Baths. It took him a bit to nail that no handed track stand which left me ample time to dig my camera out of the bag.
